nossa, jogo curtinho mas da uma sensação muito gostoda de jogar. dialogos muito bem desenvolvidos, arte muito bonita e é bem diferente dos jogos habituais. quando dizemos que graficos de ultima geração não importam pra se fazer jogos bons é disso que estamos falando. por isso que amo apoiar os jogos indies
Não sou uma pessoa que tenho o costume de jogar. Me interessei pelo jogo por sua estética gótica, e genuinamente me impressionei com ele, não vou mentir ate dei uma chorada ate, o jogo além de ter uma estética maravilhosa os diálogos são simplesmente impecáveis e sentimentais. o jogo é relativamente curto de se terminar mas acho que a mensagem que ele deixou é muito bonita
The game was very good!! While playing games I never actually thought of the opponent's perspective, but this game shows that! A very good game. Kudos to the developers!!
A very concise experience, beautiful in the art and animation. I liked the coldness of the room and the desolation of the queen. Just a bug : there was an animation at the end where the queen after being defeated lies a few feets above the ground, and the final animation happens in the air. Other than that, flawless. Maybe a bit short, it could be the tart of a new story ! haha Keep up the good work, thank you again :) (First time I send money on Itch.io)
The idea is of course really nice, kind of sad that the actual fighting gameplay is ruined by a move set that is just too slow and limited.
You don't really use your skill to defeat your enemy, at some point the slowness of your move simply becomes the issue. I'm also fairly sure that the Hero is programmer to just jump when you press 2, since it starts jumping before the animation even starts.
I guess this could be done on purpose, but it would be nice if it wasn't. Fun to mess around for a few minutes though.
My first play through was an awesome experience. A lot of emotion for a little game. I look forward to playing through more and seeing what else is in store.
i am glad that i played this game , because i got incredible emotions. I wish the author to continue in the same spirit and believe in himself. I will remember this experience.
dash hit combo too strong just do a normal dash make it quite far then turn around to slam attack the dude just instant die. I killed him 5 times the same tactic and he gave up.

I played The Dark Queen of Mortholme a few months ago, and somehow, it still enraptures me anytime i think about it. It keeps coming up in conversations—not because I’m trying to bring it up, but because it left that deep of an impression. There’s something so beautifully simple and powerful about the core concept that it sticks with you.
I almost never write reviews, but this one pulled it out of me. I had to say something. I genuinely adore this game.
That said, I think the best way to experience it is to go in blind. Don’t spoil it for yourself. Just let it happen.
It’s short. It won’t take much of your time. But it might stay with you a lot longer than you expect.

Today I played the version "in Spanish" and some dialogues do not hit as hard, perhaps because I am from Argentina and the Spanish used is from Spain or maybe because the translator change the history to make a hero girl. The game is good but it is rigged, several times I had the impression that my shots did not hit and then comes a moment where for a reason unknown to me I do not lose life, so I take advantage of it to try to beat him, yes he is very hard to beat but.. I put him to one heart I give him another shot which is supposed to kill him BUT he loses his second heart again? not to mention the many shots that did not hit (knowing that I spammed him while being invincible for more than 15 minutes and with certainty that my shots were indeed on him). anyway it's a shame that the game is literally impossible to do infinitely because of the invincibility of the Hero :)
Its like the irresistible force paradox "What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?" the hero cant stop coming and the queen wont stop fight but in this case the hero upgrade every time and the queen still same. The end is obvious

Sinceramente, uma obra incrível! O dialogo e a lição passada são sensacionais e a arte mais incrível ainda.
Foi excelente o sentimento de experienciar a perspectiva do boss em relação a um jogador determinado a te vencer.

I kind of feel the slowness of the movement is actually intended. After all, a boss doesn't move quicker because you died a lot in a real videogame.

Disappointed that it wasn't yuri, other than that, awesome game, very fun, got all the endings.
