THIS GAME IS BROKEN :/ Many times this little a$$hole stood in front of me tanking my punch and HIS LIFE DID NOT DECREASE. It's not fair. The game is simply broken, weak :/ The story won't help here

The best Love story of our time!

Hello, I would like translate to Turkish, could you help me what  i do?

(+3)

“20 minutes” you say? I just spent a solid 2+ hours playing this and I STILL kept finding more dialogue options.

for those reading the comments to find out about endings: there are at least five endings with unique dialogue, 3 where the hero kills you, 1 where you give up (and they kill you), and 1 where they give up and you “win”.

I was really hoping there’d be one where the queen was able to escape the cycle and learn to change, but if there is one, I couldn’t find it.

still. very good game. highly recommend

Is there an Android version?

Loved it

Now make a visual novel where we go on a wholesome adventure and our hero spouse teaches us how the world beyond the throne room works

Is there is a way to defeat the hero in your second phase?

Because I know you can do that in your first phase, but it just leads to the normal ending where you win.

I wonder if there is a second version of the ending where you defeat the hero via second phase.

(If there IS a second version of the ending where you win please dont spoil it to me, just say it exists.)

Edit: I dont think it actually exists. I made the hero quit via my second phase, but the ending didnt change.

I'll give it a couple more tries tho bcs I defeated him without reaching the fight where queen says "Lets see your corpse burn one last time".

(+2)(-1)

i don't think there is an ending where you win, you can lose in diffrent ways, kinda (how your character responds atleast).

but you kan "beat" (kill) them in the second fase. but they still comeback. and if there was an ending where you win, i think that kinda ruins the point of the game.

By "beat" I meant making him give up.

You can make him give up by winning over and over again in your first phase.

But your second phase is unironically weaker than your first phase (atleast from gameplay perspective), which makes it nearly impossible to defeat him enough times to make him give up  in the "final fight" where dialogue says "Lets see your corpse burn one last time".

I don't know if this is relevant, but even if I was always going into the second phase because of beng bad at the game (it was my third run), I was actually able to kill the hero in that "final fight", but it lead to him coming back and having another dialogue, althought I couldn't see if there was an ending since the game glitched due to me killing him in the first phase with the normal melee attack at the same time he hit me with his sword, triggering the second phase while he was dead. I got stuck in the second phase, my hp bar was not showing, neither was the hero's, and the hero was stuck in a running animation loop, following the queen at her left, right under her. I then spammed the second attack, but the hero was ivulnerable, probably due to the glitch, and I died somehow, triggering the normal ending. I reached there when I was only using the first options in the dialogues.

Also, I'm unsure about this, but I think in my first playthrough, the one I got the ending where you say that you don't want to hurt the hero (I later died to doing nothing when I chose that dialogue option). Is there a different ending with it? I don't know if it is my memory being bad, but I think in that plathrough the queen never kneeled and just touched him to burn him to ashes, she skipped that and hugged him, before I even reached the second phase. Also, when I reached the second phase, I think that the torches were unlit instead of being purple, although I'm not sure about this one.

A beautiful experience. Kinda sad now.

This game deserve a payment

(+1)

Yes. Absolutely.

(+3)

I wish there was more but this concept only really works as a micro game, 10/10 thank you for making this!

(+2)

I really got into character, I love being an evil queen :D Thanks for making such a cool game!

(+1)

I loved it. Such a simple idea and yet the game makes you feel how it would be to be the boss. The relationship between the two main characters is the best part. Also I really liked that there is a brazilian portuges translation. Though I didn't need it it's very cool to know the creator thought about us.

Loved the Reverse Dark Souls Mechanics.

Keep up the great work!

simplemente hermoso, me encanto alta historia y muy divertido los diálogos q tienen, buenos finales también

I really enjoyed the banter between the characters and the way their relationship evolves as they play their "unstoppable force vs immovable object" narrative.

Thanks for such a fun game!

The game is made so that you lose in the end. The animations of the character we're fighting can be interrupted at any moment, and we're standing in cooldown while he slashes with his sword. There is no variation here, everything goes to the same ending. 2 stars out of 5

(+8)(-1)

I think you missed the point of the game. You are never meant to "win" the game. Everything drives to the same ending because that is the story the game is telling.

(+1)

I just played through this game in several ways, and it has multiple endings.

The first ending I got was that the hero left and never returned to us after losing (I kept talking to him and never got angry at him).

The second ending happens if you just stand still and do nothing—he will keep moving and progressing until we eventually die by his hand (we lose control).

The third ending is where he kills us when we enter the god state (or whatever it's called), but we didn't talk enough.

The fourth ending is also where he kills us in our god state, but this time he says that we have changed during our battles with him.

(+1)

I got the fourth ending in my only playthrough.

(+1)

You really missed the point.

Mosu could you please make a version for Linux ARM6

Nossa- quero dizer, nossa..

I loved loved loooved this!

Amazing concept, beautiful art style, such a good array of music. I recommend it with all my heart!

Lovely concept, great execution, stellar music, exceptional story telling.

I love the drawing style!!! The story is nice too.

Very much made me cry. The developing relatonship between those two and meta commentary on games that can be read between the lines was very interesting.

the game is sooooo cool.like i really enjoyed.now i want to play as hero.its very cool game

(+1)

Is this what toxic yuri feels like?

I really enjoy the music in this game. I wish the music was available  to listen to online or in a sound test menu.

The idea of playing as the big boss at the end of a game and seeing the character that just can't stay dead, always growing, always learning, is such an awesome idea! I've played through it twice, and between the story and the gameplay it is an amazing game!

Some philosopher said something like this about Spanish bullfighting:

Often, the matador wins thanks to intensive training and superior skills. Would he be injured, he would be evacuated to have a chance to recover and, if not suffering from permanent injury, give it another try. Whereas the bull is just a fresh player. Now, imagine that we let the bull fight the matador, take a few non-mortal blows, leave the arena to take the time to recover, and repeat. Wouldn’t the bull end up learning the matador’s moves and how to counter them until it can kill him?

This fight reminded me of this. Except, when I was the one bleeding, no friends were there to save me.

That was an awesome game!

I love this game. Three time I thought I saw all it has to offer and then i got a new dialog. After that when I was sure The Dark Queen could not beat the Hero in combat I finally did it, and the ending? This will be one of the games I'll keep coming back to. Thank you.

I also recommend this browser game 👉 Stimulation Clicker

Perfectly captures our digital overload with hilarious upgrades and chaotic fun.

Give it a try when you need a quick brain break - the satisfying ending is worth the clicks!

This is, without a doubt, one of the most poetic and beautiful game experiences i've played, at least factoring in dev-effort vs artistic quality. You've really nailed it, in a minimalist, simple and concentrated form. GG!

(+2)

Love this! This is what video games are about. Thank you for letting us play your game. <3
