Parabéns para o cara que fez esse jogo! Não joguei mais que 2 jogos no itch.io, mas esse foi de longe o melhor e um dos melhores, senão o melhor jogo curto que já joguei. Acredito que a beleza do jogo seja os diálogos e sobre se colocar no lugar do boss final e do Heroi, e entender que no jogo, cada um está cumprindo seu papel. Gostei de verdade!
1) I really enjoyed the game. It's a fun and creative experience that kept me engaged from start to finish. The mechanics are intuitive, and the atmosphere is immersive. What stood out the most was the unique art style and how it adds depth to the narrative.
2) Throughout the game, I started to notice that the hero's hitbox seemed to simply disappear at times. My attacks wouldn't register as hits, even though I was clearly striking the hero. This caused some frustrating moments.
3) If the game gets any updates, I would suggest adding the ability to chain attacks together. This would give me more options in combat and allow for more strategy, especially against the hero. It could also make the AI smarter in adapting to my moveset. I understand that, as a final boss, I won’t have upgrades like better weapons or spells, aside from possibly a second phase. So, I believe being able to chain attacks would be a solid addition. Alternatively, fixing the hero's hitbox would also be a great improvement.
4) I read that there are at least three possible endings: one where the hero wins, another where I just stand still and do nothing, and a third where the hero surrenders. However, I haven't been able to get the ending where the hero surrenders. Since my last comment I've played the game four more times, choosing different dialogue options and even defeating the hero using only my mace, yet I always end up with the same ending where the hero wins. I'd almost say the ending doesn’t exist, but I’ve seen people on Youtube and forums who claim to have unlocked it.
There's a cheese tactic for getting the give up ending. You need to trick the player's AI, whenever you use the spell circle he'll move forward to get out, if you use the mace then he'll move back to avoid it.
Basically hug a wall, spam 3, when he's close due to the spell circle press 1, and then he'll walk back into the spell and die.
Very sad game, but also sweet. Although on my first playthough the game glitched, making both the queen and the hero unkillable. Which lead to the "you're not trying anymore" dialogue. So the hero kept fighting me and I kind of just gave up. And then they stopped and the hero and the queen just stared at each other for all eternity. I consider this to be the good ending.
By the scale of this game, this kind of story was more touching than a lot of other story games that are much longer. Having a smaller story that has a big meaning and love in it is much more valuable. Hope your future games are as touching as this.
This game is a masterpiece! Simply gorgeous, both the narrative, art style, sound design, all perfect! My only issue (and you probably read this all the time) is the fact that no matter what you do or say, the end is always the same. I get that this is the intention, to show that the boss was made to be like that and that a player will always beat it in the end, however I feel that, in a narrative perspective, this makes all the dialogue choices we make along the way quite irrelevant. It does not matter if we, as the boss, start to see the player's perspective or not, in the end, it feels like there never was a choice to begin with (which conflicts with all the amazing dialogues the game has).
Of course this is all just my own opinion based only in my own experience, apart from everything I just said, the place of this game should be in a museum, because it's truly an piece of art!!
juego de mierda. los ataques son pobres y de gente hedionda. los graficos son peores que los del pes 2006. la idea es aburrida y repetitiva. el tipo que me enfrenta me hace bullyng, ademas de que le pegan en casa. es negro y tiene los ojos celestes (imposible). no tiene menu para cambiar los graficos y es muy pobre, ademas de que las letras son las tipicas, en fin. ojala lo borren jeje
se te olvida que hay juegos estilo pixel? mas ensima que el heroe no nos hace bullying para nada,si lo vez de esa forma ps estas mal,q tiene q sea un maldito negro con ojos blancos si has visto a herobrine y no t veo llorando,las letras y los finales son creativos y los ataques estan hechos para ser limitados ya que son parte de las conversaciones y endings
A very beautiful artstyle and amazing lore. I loved every moment of it! I hope it gets expanded into a full series someday. If I had any money, I would certainly donate!
I'm in love with this game, I feel like it's made to humble the proud because "losing" is inevitable, that's why it's helping me fight against my own sins. Can you please tell us which character is the queen inspired by?
Unfortunately the only thing that's left on me is the frustration of getting overcomed. It's interesting from game boss's perspective that they are not meant to be undefeatable, provided that the player won't misplay. But, that is not a great place to be as a player.
Love the game but man I wish there was an ending where the hero convinces the queen to leave with them. Just imagine this little cockroach of an adventurer and their big ol' girlfriend
I think it's nice that in the end as the queen dies and gives the hero her blessing, she goes into the hero's sword because even if it's unintentional, it shows that the queen will always be with the hero on his adventures

This is so good
Like the concept but it has terrible hit detection often getting him directly without him getting hurt.
Finished the second run the detection is realy not good.
Finished the last with the hard end i like that it is posible and there.
