This game perfectly portrays how it always felt for me to fight the bosses in Souls games. It always felt oddly intimate and tragic in a very personal way that no other games could recreate, up to this point.
I'm glad this idea that I have seen on the internet a few times was used to tell a compelling story. I loved how it deconstructed the relationship between player and bosses and the difference between the two, instead of just being a joke game that heavy relies on this gimmick.
I very rarely play games, especially small short indie games (I just made the account tbh), but this one is definitely a gem I'd like to keep in my mind.
I hate you, shit made me want to cry! 1000/10, gave me some really good ideas/story for games to make.
Further you play, it seems like his hitbox gets smaller due to attacks that showed it hit him yet didn't.
Bug (I think): with 2nd and 3rd attack of normal fight, when you do 3rd attack and immediately 2nd attack, there will be times where he doesn't jump and wont get damaged.
As some others have also said here, I would absolutely KILL for an RPG starring the Dark Queen. Finally getting that adventure the hero was talking about. Hell, even a comic would be awesome. You created such compelling characters with so little time. It's so impressive! I just want to see more of them!
(also, the boss not using her final form because it gives her dysphoria is so adorable. It's objectively the best reason for a character to not use their most powerful abilities.)

Amazing short game with shockingly good writing. I'd love to see more!
