I loved the game but i'm disappointed a game that carries a message of hope and change doesn't allow your character to do that. Even if she entertains the idea. Change doesn't have to be something massive, changing little things is still change. And for her, just walking away into the unknown is change. I hope we do get to see some of it at some point, ty for the game <3
I do agree that while I was hoping that the Dark Queen would have a more fulfilling ending, I still think she was able to achieve this change.
As you said, "Change doesn't have to be something massive, changing little things is still change," and for her, she's stated multiple times that she was fated to be the Dark Queen and that nothing will change this. She even tries to get the hero to accept this "truth," but as time goes on, she slowly starts to falter, to the point she questions why the hero is so confident she can be defeated. At this moment, she's already questioning what she believes to be indisputable.
She has also mentioned that there have been others who have tried to bring her down, and still, she's never had to put in any effort. But in the last battle with the hero, she is seen giving her all, something she probably has never done before, which is another change that she experiences that disrupts her normal routine of things.
In her last moments, as she's coming to terms with the fact that her end is near, and it's thanks to the hero, she can accept her death. I think the fact that the hero was able to change her mind about having to stay with this undying, unforgiving tyrant is the change she needed , and while bittersweet, I think the ending was very fitting.
its a 10/10 game, but its really annoying how slow you are. having the cooldowns on attacks is fine, but you're immobile for a while before every attack and a while after, not to mention that dashing is the only reliable way to move.
Very fun, lovely concept, and I love how the Hero AI actually improves instead of only increasing damage and movement speed. I only wish the hitboxes were accurate. Ability 1 in particular had very bad collision, and I feel like I could have won with it alone if it was accurate to the pixels. I would love to see how I do against the best Hero AI if all the base-form abilities hit the way they look like they should.
Amazing game! I'm so intrigued by the way the characters move and the storytelling. You made the characters feel so real in such a short amount of time. I'm not ashamed that I cried a little when I reached the true ending. There's a part of me hoping she can leave her chamber and find happiness. The dialogue and the connection between the hero and the queen are just *chef's kiss* Keep up the good work!

WHAT a cool game. I love the changes in the animations of "dispatching" the dead hero's body based on your dialogue choices and how there is an ending for you giving up. Lots of neat design choices!

Best way to end the game, as I've died to Soulsborne bosses just like that (for example: in Elden Ring, Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon summoned a dragon after I killed her, which fell right on top of me and killed me in return)
So don't patch it, I could even move afterwards which allowed him to respawn, just like I did against Rennala... Even though the credits cut it off, It's perfect as is. Really satisfying.
Could be called the 'True Eternal Queen' ending, since she came back, just like he always does. She was asking about how to become like him, how to come back after death... So now it's almost like she learned from his signature move, just as he learned her movesets. Full circle!
(What he said at the end was "Wow, I didn't think you'd still catch me!" which works really well considering the circumstances)
This was GREAT! Loved it! Saw that others triggered more endings, missed out on them. Strange only got 1 ending even after going through it twice with different choices. But anyways I still liked what I played. Definitely recommend! 👍
release this beautiful game on steam otherwise I'm not really interested to purchase it here release it on steam for even higher price ppl like me exist, we will pay more
Excelente juego; la narrativa de la historia que se enfoca en la visión del jefe final y no del héroe es algo que no se ha visto mucho, la verdad. Es algo que recomiendo mucho; unos minutos que no te arrepentiras.
Todavia no lo descargo, pero imagino que al ser solo un .exe, el pck lo debe tener embebido en ese .exe por comodidad de descarga, y eso es lo que detecta el antivirus como archivo oculto dentro de otro. Por eso lo ideal es poner en el .exe y pck por separado dentro de un zip para no preocupar a los jugadores.

Thx for that i tried to do it but holy i thought it was impossible to kill the hero , it appear that it was nearly impossible cuz its so hard that i gave up and watched it
this game was very well made. it is not every day you get to play the villain. wish more games would let u play the other side of the story. i would love to see if after the queen was defeated if there was a way she could come back and be redeemed and became reborn and was able to explore the outside world maybe run into the hero and maybe join him. also idk how to post videos but i have a video going up on my channel playing it.
