I'm in love with this game, I feel like it's made to humble the proud because "losing" is inevitable, that's why it's helping me fight against my own sins. Can you please tell us which character is the queen inspired by?
Unfortunately the only thing that's left on me is the frustration of getting overcomed. It's interesting from game boss's perspective that they are not meant to be undefeatable, provided that the player won't misplay. But, that is not a great place to be as a player.
Love the game but man I wish there was an ending where the hero convinces the queen to leave with them. Just imagine this little cockroach of an adventurer and their big ol' girlfriend
I think it's nice that in the end as the queen dies and gives the hero her blessing, she goes into the hero's sword because even if it's unintentional, it shows that the queen will always be with the hero on his adventures

Really cool game!! Me and my friend are soulslike enjoyers and we were on a discord call role-playing. Me as the boss, and my friend as the hero. It was really fuuun <3
Amazing game had lots of fun with it. trying to take advantage of how the hero learned the queens moves and the way the hero fights , i just wish i was reward more for keeping cards hidden to help keep my edge and prevent his learning rather then x progress = knowledge on 1, 2 , and 3 if i only used 1 and 2 . once again tho amazing game you've got something amazing here
really great game, just wished we could do our own keybinds. Granted I don't play MnK games that often and I have big hands but I really hate the current keybinds and wished I could use different ones. Still Awesome concept, loved the Queen and hero.
I loved the game but i'm disappointed a game that carries a message of hope and change doesn't allow your character to do that. Even if she entertains the idea. Change doesn't have to be something massive, changing little things is still change. And for her, just walking away into the unknown is change. I hope we do get to see some of it at some point, ty for the game <3
I do agree that while I was hoping that the Dark Queen would have a more fulfilling ending, I still think she was able to achieve this change.
As you said, "Change doesn't have to be something massive, changing little things is still change," and for her, she's stated multiple times that she was fated to be the Dark Queen and that nothing will change this. She even tries to get the hero to accept this "truth," but as time goes on, she slowly starts to falter, to the point she questions why the hero is so confident she can be defeated. At this moment, she's already questioning what she believes to be indisputable.
She has also mentioned that there have been others who have tried to bring her down, and still, she's never had to put in any effort. But in the last battle with the hero, she is seen giving her all, something she probably has never done before, which is another change that she experiences that disrupts her normal routine of things.
In her last moments, as she's coming to terms with the fact that her end is near, and it's thanks to the hero, she can accept her death. I think the fact that the hero was able to change her mind about having to stay with this undying, unforgiving tyrant is the change she needed , and while bittersweet, I think the ending was very fitting.

Just finished it and I'm sad now. Very interesting storytelling. Would marry the queen.
Unfortunately I only watched gameplays, but I would like to play it, but I'm a mobile user. If it were available for mobile I would buy it with pride.

This is so good
Like the concept but it has terrible hit detection often getting him directly without him getting hurt.
Finished the second run the detection is realy not good.
Finished the last with the hard end i like that it is posible and there.
